About me

My name is Alice and I've had a passion for animals my whole life. However, four years ago I adopted a Staffy called Darcy who completely changed my life. Darcy had an array of behavioral problems such as car anxiety, reactivity, lead pulling, and a severe lack of obedience. I've never struggled so much whilst trying so hard to fix something. However, Darcy has come a long long way since then and I learned so much along the way. The journey with Darcy forced me to learn, as what I thought I knew about dog training just didn't seem to work, although in the end, this struggle pushed me towards becoming a better dog owner and communicator. Most people do not want to spend 4 years struggling with their dog, and you know what? You don't have to.

I decided to fully commit to my passion and pursued a career as a dog trainer full-time. My goal is to improve the relationship between dog owners and their dogs by providing them with the means to effectively communicate in a positive way. I follow the current science of dog training which supports that training using positive reinforcement-based methods is the most effective and humane way of training dogs.

Please contact me if your dog is experiencing behavioral problems, needs training, or if you just would like to connect and find ways of having more fun with your dog.

Service Description

In-depth behaviour consultation - £65 per session or a 3-session bundle for £160 (value £195)
Behaviours suitable for this type of consultation are; Reactive behaviours, guarding of food/items, aggressive behaviours, compulsive behaviours, fears and phobias, and anxiety-related behaviours.

Prior to a behaviour consultation, you will need to fill out a pre-consultation form. The form asks questions about the dog, the behaviours of concern, as well as any medical/health issues that may be present. This allows me to make informed decisions when planning our initial consultation and may help to decide the cause of the behaviour.

Consultations vary in structure but often involve me coming to the home and discussing/observing the behaviours with you. We then implement a behaviour modification plan, including management and training techniques.
After each consultation, I will send you an email with links and detailed methods of training techniques/management practised during your consultation.

Zoom behaviour consultations - £45 per session
These types of consultations are suitable for dog owners with very nervous or people-reactive/aggressive dogs.
Zoom consultations work the same way as face-to-face consultations, but may require video footage of the behaviours. **PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD NOT PROVOKE THESE BEHAVIOURS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING VIDEO FOOTAGE** If you need advice on how to best obtain footage in a safe and ethical way - Please send me an email!

Basic Training and mild behaviour modifications £50
Behaviours suitable for this type of consultation are:
Basic training such as recall and lead walking, jumping up, excitement when having guests, and confidence building.

The structure is the same as in-depth consultations but does not require a filled-out pre-consultation form.

Please email, call or text me if you have any questions or enquiries.
